….. Went to Christmas Eve services at Ralston Arena to celebrate the BEGINNING/birth of our Savior. Next year I will not sit on the floor. My feet froze. Duh? You put a pad over ice; you put your feet on the pad; what do you think the result is going to be? Doesn’t help that I am extremely cold-blooded.
…..Would love to have seen Pastor Elliott grab his guitar, plop down on a stool and sing “Oh Holy Night”. No background music – just a man and his voice glorifying the Trinity. My favorite Christmas carol.
…..Next year I need to wear my glasses. On the way to the car after the service I asked my kids if they could read the posters that were carried across the stage. Well, of course they could. Son informed me that was the main point of the night and my daughter said she cried reading them. She was embarrassed but noticed the lady sitting next to her was crying. Powerful testimonies were shared that evening.
…..The Praise Band member wearing red looked so Christmassy.
…..Well done God’s children at Beautiful Savior.

I am thinking about printing this list and putting it everywhere: in the house, the car, at work. Who needs New Year’s resolutions when this list exists?
Genesis 1:1 (NIV) IN THE BEGINNING God created the heavens and the earth.
What will I “create” this year?
